How to Test AC Compressor (and Pick the Right Fan) – 6 Steps I Wish I’d Followed

Two years ago, a small contractor called me, frantic. He’d just installed a new condenser unit—Panasonic, top-of-the-line—but the compressor wouldn’t start. Step 1: Don’t Assume the Compressor Is Dead—Test It Right
